Regarding COVID-19
Throughout this unprecedented time of great uncertainty due to ongoing concerns regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), MCAD has strived to put the health and wellbeing of our students, staff, and faculty above all else.
We want you to know that as part of our community, the health and wellbeing of you and your family is also our priority. For this reason, we are continuing to monitor this unprecedented health crisis and trying to plan for an untraditional admission cycle and the impact it may have on you, an Admitted MCAD Student.
Here are a few updates regarding how enrollment processes have changed for admitted students:
- All on-campus events are canceled until further notice, but please watch your email for weekly virtual event invitations.
- MCAD has moved to a test-optional policy. Submission of ACT or SAT scores for the undergraduate program is optional. Your chance of admission will not be negatively impacted if you do not submit standardized test scores.
- The most up-to-date information regarding admitted students and COVID-19 can be found at mcad.edu/forward
We appreciate your patience as we address the impact of the health crisis. We are making many decisions in real time as we receive more information from public officials. At MCAD the safety of our community is our top priority. While this is an uneasy time for all of us, it is through these moments that we come together to support one another. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your admissions counselor at admissions@mcad.edu or 612.874.3760.
