Sculpture and Expanded Media Concentration Expanded Materials, Limitless Possibilities Within MCAD’s Fine Arts major the Sculpture and Expanded Media concentration uses a full range of materials and techniques, including 3D printing, casting, and fabrication, enabling students to bring their vision and work to life in three dimensions. The program introduces historical and contemporary approaches to the medium, which can take the form of a discrete object or experiential installation. Within a spirited, supportive group of peers, students explore individual and collaborative works along with public art and community partnerships.
