Art Educator Workshops

Join the MCAD community for an immersive art educators symposium on Thursday, June 18, from 12:00–5:30 p.m. Educators will enjoy admissions presentations, campus tours, and lunch. Educators will register for a dynamic hands-on workshop in one of MCAD's distinctive artmaking spaces from 1:00-4:00 p.m., and conclude with a happy hour event at MCAD’s onsite events space, The Buzz.

Lunch and Happy Hour costs are included in the workshop registration for a total of $25.

Art Educator Symposium workshop choices:

  • Character Design Lab
  • Figure Drawing Lab
  • Watercolor Lab (Agates)
  • Cyanotype Printing Lab
  • Experimental Drawing Lab
  • Printmaking Lab (Hand-Carved Stamps)

Workshop choices will be available to preview February 23. Registration opens March 2!

Additionally, you can join us online for a traditional Art Educator Workshop in Contemporary Painting Methods, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., July 6–10, 2026. Preview February 23. Registration opens March 2.
