Creative Writing

The Art of the

Written Word

The Creative Writing major is for storytellers who want to work with both words and images. From comics and graphic novels to film, animation, and emerging media, students build a powerful portfolio through their studio practice. Surrounded by artists, designers, and makers, they collaborate across disciplines, sparking cross-pollination of ideas and exposure to non-literary creative influences.
