How to find us: visitors can buzz in at the entrance to the Main Gallery of the Minneapolis College of Art & Design (MCAD). Once inside, stop by the Welcome Desk to get a Visitor Badge and directions to the Art Cellar.

Pens and markers in the Art Cellar

Open to the MCAD community and general public, the Art Cellar is a convenient place to buy art supplies, toiletries, a majority of required course materials, and MCAD-branded swag at discounted prices. One of the best parts of shopping at the Art Cellar is that, as it is a nonprofit supply store, all of the profits go toward student scholarships.

Employees are practicing artists from a variety of disciplines and can provide guidance on products and creative processes.
