Suyao Tian Featured as Twin Cities Creative

Mpls St. Paul magazine interviewed Suyao Tian ’15 as one of 4 “creatives to watch” in the Twin Cities area. They noted how her large naturesque abstract watercolor works have led to collaborations with various brands like Target and West Elm.

Martha Dayton Design described how they reached out to Tian to design a wallpaper for the Finch multifamily building in Edina, and that her wallpaper “drove the design of the entire building.” Her next venture will be creating work for the U.S. Department of State’s Art in Embassies program, which will be displayed at the U.S. ambassador’s residence in Lisbon, Portugal.
