September 10, 2025 Image Erik Brandt The Minneapolis College of Art and Design is proud to share that Professor Erik Brandt, a longtime faculty member in Graphic Design, has been announced as the winner of the prestigious 2026 Kiel Week design competition—one of the most coveted honors in international visual communication.Unveiled during a press conference in Kiel, Germany, Brandt’s winning design concept will serve as the official identity for Kiel Week 2026, the world’s largest sailing event.
