August 30, 2025 Image George Morrison ’43 The Magical City: George Morrison’s New York celebrates the works of late MCAD alumni George Morrison ’43. His abstract works were often inspired by The Grand Portage Reservation's riverside in Minnesota, where he spent the majority of his life, before studying at the New York’s Art Student League.
