Explore the rich history and contemporary applications of woodcut printing. Course DescriptionComplete three projects that focus on relief printing methods, such as image development, carving, and printing by hand and press. The course begins with a single-color woodcut, allowing students to develop their own carving style and approach to mark-making. Multi-color methods include reductive and multi-block printing. Learn safe and effective use of MCAD’s printing equipment. / Materials fee of $14 and a facilities fee of $69 are included in course tuition. / Please review the Printshop Facility Fees Supply List for more information.Open to students ages 18 and above.
