Nancy Ariza is a printmaker, educator, and arts and cultural engagement organizer. She has been developing and leading educational arts programming throughout the state of Minnesota since 2012. She is currently the Associate Curator of Learning and Engagement at the Minnesota Museum of American Art (the M), overseeing the museum’s education and public programs through community partnerships. Outside of her role at the M, Ariza is teaching artist and adjunct faculty member at Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

Ariza has worked at arts organizations such as Highpoint Center for Printmaking, Minneapolis Institute of Art, Minnesota Center for Books Arts, Walker Art Center, East Side Arts Council, and other community-based learning spaces. She holds a BA in Art History and a BFA in Printmaking from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and an MA in Education specializing in culturally responsive teaching from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
