Step into the magical and hands-on world of puppetry and puppet making! Open to ages 9 to 12. Course descriptionDesign and create your very own puppets - from finger puppets and shadow puppets to hand and rod puppets - using a variety of materials and creative techniques. Along the way, explore the fascinating history of puppetry, discovering classic traditions from around the world and seeing how puppets continue to inspire modern performers and storytellers today. Through storytelling, crafting, and performance, bring characters to life with movement, voice, and imagination. The course culminates in a short group puppet show on Friday afternoon, where everyone’s creations take center stage.Open to students ages 9 to 12.
