Dive into the magical world of animation and visual storytelling in this hands-on, multimedia art course that blends traditional techniques with modern technology. Open to ages 12-15. Course DescriptionStudents will explore the fundamentals of animation by creating short stop-motion videos with materials like found objects and paper. Using iPads, tripods, and the Stop Motion Studio app, students will discover how still images can be transformed into moving stories and ideas are brought to life. Students will gain inspiration from notable animators and visionaries like Lotte Reiniger, Rebecca Sugar, and Walt Disney.
