Art Academy for ages 9-12: Paint, Print & Layer (In Person)

Learn the basics of painting, printmaking, and collage to translate images from the imagination onto the page. Open to ages 9-12.

Course description

This multi-week course introduces students to four distinct mediums: acrylic painting, printmaking, collage, and watercolor. Each unit focuses on a different process, allowing students to explore foundational skills, experiment with materials, and build creative confidence.

Explore projects such as acrylic paintings inspired by decorative animal imagery, hand-carved print blocks, collages built from found materials, watercolor landscapes, and more. / Materials fee of $12 is included in course tuition.

Open to students ages 9-12. Please review our complete Youth and Teen Policies as well as our General Policies prior to completing your registration.
