Art Academy for ages 6-9: Flora and Fauna (In Person)

Celebrate Minnesota's natural world through drawing, painting, and mixed-media projects inspired by local wildlife, changing seasons, and the landscapes around us. Open to ages 6–9.

Course description

From loons and butterflies to forests and lakes, explore nature as a source of creativity and artistic inspiration. Each class encourages play, imagination, and self-expression while introducing a variety of art materials and techniques. Guided by core themes of observation, exploration, experimentation, and social-emotional well-being, develop foundational art skills, explore different approaches to making art, and discover inspiration from both contemporary and historical artists. / A materials fee of $12 is included in the course tuition.
