When you visit or interact with the Minneapolis College of Art and Design’s website (MCAD), (http://www.mcad.edu ) we may collect some information about you and your site visit. We make considerable efforts to ensure that any information collected by MCAD related to your online visit will be handled appropriately. MCAD collects information you provide when, through our website, you apply for admission, register for campus visits and events, make charitable contributions, or otherwise interact with MCAD’s sites and services. Third-Party Vendors. MCAD may share information collected through its site with third-party vendors who provide services to MCAD . For example, we may use third-party vendors to design and operate the site, conduct surveys and statistical analyses, and/or to help us with our fundraising and promotional efforts. In addition, as described below, we may allow them to use data to improve their services and for their own purposes.

These safeguards include, for example, the encryption of data during collection.
