Guiding Transformation

Wendy Jedlicka brings a wealth of accomplishments, experience, and wisdom to the classroom. As an internationally recognized leader in sustainable design and systems thinking, she has worked with organizations, governments, and communities to create pathways toward resilience and equity. Her career has been defined by a willingness to step into complexity with curiosity, to bridge disciplines with creativity, and to lead with both rigor and heart.

Beyond her professional achievements, Wendy has been a long-time voice in the global conversation around designing for sustainability and transformation. She has helped shape how industries think about packaging, product lifecycles, and systems innovation, always grounding her work in care for people and the planet. Her leadership is practical and visionary—rooted in deep knowledge but never divorced from human experience.

Students who learn with Wendy discover quickly that transformational leadership is not about imposing solutions. It is about cultivating the conditions where change can emerge. Wendy invites students to notice the patterns beneath the problems, to listen deeply to the voices at the margins, and to act with humility and courage.

In a world grappling with climate change, social inequities, and cultural shifts, leaders need more than strategies—they need capacity for transformation. Wendy equips our Creative Leadership students with precisely this capacity: the ability to see the whole system, to hold complexity without fear, and to guide others through change with clarity and compassion.
