Lacey Prpic Hedtke, Creative Leadership Coordinator at MCAD, embodies this thread with grace, guiding students through their residency experiences with curiosity, creativity, and attentiveness to detail.As Creative Leadership Coordinator, Lacey accompanied students through their residency journey—supporting them as they navigated new challenges, collaborations, and opportunities for growth. Her approach was marked by careful listening, open curiosity, and imaginative problem-solving. In her presence, students felt seen not only as learners but also as emerging leaders shaping their own paths.Beyond her role at MCAD, Lacey is a well-known creative leader in the Twin Cities, where she has cultivated spaces that invite people to learn, explore, and connect. Her work reflects a commitment to community-based creativity—whether through art, storytelling, or building platforms for shared voices to emerge.
