Woody Olson Featured in “Now You See Me” Juried Exhibition

Woody Olson ’76 is among the featured artists in the 2025 Annual Juried Art Exhibition, Now You See Me: Self Portraits by Wisconsin Artists, currently on view at the Cedarburg Art Museum.

Olson’s mixed media piece, titled Self-Portrait, reflects his ongoing exploration of abstract expressionism. Known for his bold, unconventional compositions, Olson often distorts or omits facial features in his work, inviting viewers to form their own interpretations.

“I exercise creative self-expression through my art, as I strive to experiment and be adventurous with abstract forms,” said Olson, who lives and works in Janesville, WI.
