Woody Olson Celebrates a Season of Exhibitions in Wisconsin and Illinois

Woody Olson ’76 continues to make his mark on the Midwest art scene with a trio of exhibitions showcasing his abstract and expressive work throughout the summer and fall of 2025.

Throughout June and July, Olson is featured in 25 Years of Art at BAC, a retrospective exhibition at the Beloit Art Center’s Sveum Gallery, celebrating the center’s twenty-fifth anniversary. His work will also be part of Finding Creativity Within, a group exhibition and encore presentation honoring the Beloit Art Center's milestone.

Capping the season, Olson will present a solo exhibition titled Expressing Imagination in the Abstract at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. During the exhibition, Olsen will be leading a watercolor workshop to one-hundred to two-hundred students as well.
