Sarah Nicole ’18 is showing a new piece, Water Angel Bloom, in an exhibition titled In Full Bloom. The acrylic on raw cotton canvas paintings is also for sale and includes a certificate of authenticity.

As described by Sarah: “Water Angel Bloom is part of [my] ongoing Dusk Bloom series, conceived in 2024. The paintings trace the emotional and physical contours of femininity, shaped by embodied experiences of motherhood. Working with raw canvas and a soak-stain technique, she treats water as a collaborator, flooding, diluting, and staining the surface in gestures guided as much by gravity and evaporation as by her own hand. Repeated and refined over time, these actions form quiet rituals that give shape to ephemeral states.”
