Two MCADians Participating in More Than Lit Fundraiser

Lukas Carlson ’22, MFA and current student Jaydn Spann are participating in the 2026 More Than Lit silent art auction. Organized by Read With Me MN, the silent auction allows its twenty five participating artists to retain 90% of their final sale, while helping raise money to support local writers.

Read With Me MN is a non-profit group focused on tackling the literacy crisis in Minnesota, and supporting local authors and illustrators from under-represented communities. More Than Lit is August 7 from 6:00–11:00 p.m. at the Hennepin Arts Building.
