Thomas Fleisher ’89 and his husband, Ken Hoffman, have recently gifted seventy works in their private collection by Belgian artist Jef Verheyen to the Contemporary Museum of Art, Antwerp. The donation is in memory of Fleisher’s benefactor Baron Joachim "Jack" con Hoerde, who was a friend of Jef Verheyen.

They were then invited to the private opening of Verheyen’s work at the Royal Museum of Art in Antwerp. They also gifted a set of 18th-century rare books to the Versotko Center for the Arts Rare Books Library. This donation was similarly done in memory of Roman Versotko, a former professor and friend.
