Teresa Audet Named Emerging Artist at Craft + Design

MCAD alumni Teresa Audet ’07 was chosen as the Featured Emerging Artist for the 61st annual Visual Arts Center of Richmond’s Craft + Design show. This is Craft + Design Show’s second year selecting and emerging artist- an artist who’s been practicing their craft for 10 years or less.

When making their decision, the jury noted her multidisciplinary use of mixed media, carved wood, and cast paper pulp. They also noted how her current work explores art making as a meditative tool for processing emotions and mindfulness.
