Suits Exhibit Opens in Madison, Showcasing 40 Years of Work

Wisconsin-based artist Bevan Suits ’85 brings four decades of vibrant, whimsical art to U Frame It-East with a new solo exhibition.

The show features a wide selection of Suits’ psychedelic and Zen-inspired paintings and drawings, exploring themes shaped by his long-standing yoga and Zen Buddhist practices.

Suits blends cartoonish portraits of cats, rock stars, and spiritual figures with bold lines and vivid color. His multi-disciplinary approach, honed over the years as both an artist and industrial designer, reflects a personal and playful vision.

The exhibit includes smaller pieces that reveal the evolution of his eclectic style, with nods to pop culture and Eastern philosophy. A follow-up show is scheduled for October at the Goodman Center.
