September 17, 2025 Image Qiuwen Li ’16, MFA Qiuwen Li ’16, MFA, is currently showing a solo exhibition at the Triton Museum of Art. Her show, Echoes in Color, explores the emotional and visual dimensions of language through motion graphics and digital posters.Originally from China and now based in the Bay Area, Li combines her background in bilingual communication, graphic design, and typography to create a new visual system she calls "colorography"—a method of encoding letters through color and form. The exhibition includes her signature series Old is the New New, which interprets language through abstraction and personal symbolism.Li currently serves as Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Santa Clara University.
