From Insight to Action

Olaf Kuhlke, Professor and Creative Entrepreneurship Chair, recently led a hands-on workshop with EcoActUS Foundation Inc. where he introduced a new Climate Strategy and Innovation Tool he co-developed with Herman Gyr from the Enterprise Development Group in Palo Alto. This work was also assisted by students in Kuhlke's Innovation and Progress class at MCAD. It is designed to help people quickly generate ideas for personal climate action, launch green business concepts, and explore ways companies can move toward climate-positive strategies. During the session, Kuhlke walked participants through how the tool works and showed how AI can help turn big sustainability challenges into practical ideas and projects that individuals and teams can actually try out.

The tool is being launched through EcoActUS Foundation Inc. and the program has already brought together more than 16,000 participants from over 130 countries. According to Dr. Dayo Ajayi-Obe’s LinkedIn post, the new AI tool is meant to help people move from simply learning about climate change to actually taking action. Kuhlke has also been sharing updates about the project on his LinkedIn as EcoActUS gathers feedback from early users and continues improving the platform in the months ahead.
