Monica Helland ’10 is bringing her signature printmaking style to a major stage through a new collaboration with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Helland was recently featured in the Timberwolves’ Artist Series as part of the team’s Women’s History Night celebration, creating a limited-edition sweatshirt that showcases her distinct visual language. Known for her intricate illustrations, Helland’s work blends folkloric creatures, botanical elements, and bold graphic linework.

Her design centers on a powerful wolf framed by geometric patterns inspired by playing cards, with layered details such as moons, basketball motifs, and a symbolic third eye—an element that reflects her ongoing interest in the mythical and otherworldly.
