Minnesota Music Archive Project Launches

Scott Werner ’17 is excited to share a major project collaboration between Werner Elements with DEMO (Diverse Emerging Music Organization): the public launch of the Minnesota Music Archive was April 1, 2026. The Minnesota Music Archive is a first-of-its-kind digital platform designed to preserve officially released music by Minnesota artists, and allowing for community contributions and submissions, providing a centralized discovery tool for researchers, fans, educators, and musicians.

Werner Elements led the UX strategy, front-end design, creative direction, and project management for the platform. He believes his time in the Entrepreneurial Studies program at MCAD helped him create the groundwork to make his contribution to the project possible.
