MCAD to Host Project DIVA International Youth Showcase

The Minneapolis College of Art and Design will serve as the venue for a powerful youth-led showcase on December 6, as Project DIVA International presents I Can Speak for Myself.

The event marks the culmination of months of study, exploration, and personal growth. Participants have spent the fall examining innovators, developing their own creative viewpoints, and sharpening their abilities to advocate for themselves and their communities.

MinneapoliMedia, a supporter of the program, emphasized the importance of uplifting young voices. “Our girls are navigating a world that challenges them long before it celebrates them—and now, more than ever, they deserve our presence and support,” the organization said in its announcement.

The event is free and open to the public with RSVP.
