Martino Nguyen Co Founder of Vietnamese Minnesotan Museum

Martino Nguyen ’04 is one of six co founders for the new Non Profit Vietnamese Minnesotan Museum. Founded in March 2025, the museum has an online archive as well as doing traveling showcases while they work on getting a physical space.

Their collection includes photos, calligraphy, paintings, documentaries, contemporary art, traditional clothing and recordings of oral histories. “I have been part of the artistic community, and I felt like my people’s art, culture and history were missing from Minnesota’s multicultural scene,” Nguyen told the Sahan Journal.
