Lenius Launches “Jetworld” Font

Stephen Lenius ’20, MA has brought his graduate capstone project to a wider audience with the commercial release of his custom-designed typeface. Originally titled Jetsonville, the font has been renamed Jetworld and is now available through My Fonts.

Published by Nelson Borhek Press, Jetworld is a space-age typeface with a retro-forward look—combining sleek, tapered curves with rigid vertical and horizontal lines to create a sense of rhythm and motion. Inspired not by handwriting or calligraphy, but by midcentury modern architecture and design, Jetworld draws from visual icons like the Theme Building at LAX, the TWA terminal at JFK, and even the playful futurism of The Jetsons.
