Jennie Ward Showcases Work in “Shared Visions”

A new exhibition showcasing the bold, colorful work of three regional artists, including Jennie Ward ’99, recently opened in Detroit Lakes, titled Shared Visions.

The collection offers visitors a vibrant exploration of color, abstraction, and texture, highlighting how each artist’s work has evolved since previous showings at the gallery. Shared Visions invites viewers to observe not only the distinct styles of each artist, but also the common threads in their use of paint and emotion.

“In renderings that range from delicate to bold to glowing, the visions shared are expressions both of things seen in the world and of things seen only, perhaps, in the artist's mind,” the gallery states.
