HEX Ferments Co-founder Meaghan Carpenter Gives Advice

Meaghan Carpenter ’02 recently did an interview with Baltimore Fishbowl, following the success of her and her husband’s brand HEX Ferments. Started in 2010 as a collaborative performance art piece, the pair went on to grow it into a budding kombucha and fermented food brand.

Carpenter cites that the most influential piece of advice she received was during her time as an MCAD undergraduate. Her drawing professor, Howard Quednau, sets an example for her mindset: “If you made it once, you can make it again; go ahead, erase!"
