Gerald McMaster ’77 was featured in the National Gallery of Canada’s Magazine for his prolific curatorial career. As a Cree person his curatorial work focuses on indigenous perspectives, and as of the last few years specifically Inuit art.

The article serves as an acknowledgement of McMaster’s longstanding commitment to Inuit art, which coincides with Qillaniq, a global survey of Indigenous circumpolar art which will be on view at the National Gallery of Canada throughout this summer.
