Douglas Henders ’83

Douglas Henders ’83 presents new work in a two-person exhibition titled Unknown Knowns: Drawing, Painting and the Unmapped. The show is a collaboration with fellow artist Trevor Wilson and delves into themes of memory, perception, and the elusive nature of representation.

Henders’ contribution features spray-painted abstractions that explore the intersection of nature and data, using industrial tools to create vivid, automatic compositions. His use of stencils blurs the line between process and product, echoing the exhibition’s broader inquiry into the unseen forces that shape our understanding of the world.
