Dennis Sirrine ’70 is featured in Retrospectives~The Art of Dennis Sirrine & Tom Frohnapfel.

The show celebrates more than four decades of art making and community building by Stonington artists Sirrine and Frohnapfel. Their work spans representational and abstract painting, mixed media, glass, and furniture, reflecting long-standing explorations of place, perception, and creative inquiry.

Sirrine’s work ranges from early cityscapes and coastal marsh scenes to the Black & White Series (2016), Blue Series (2018), and recent abstractions that engage viewers through a fluid visual language. In addition to his studio practice, Sirrine manages and curates the Velvet Mill Gallery, is an Elected Artist of the Lyme Art Association, and has served on the Art Exhibition Committee at Mystic Art Center. His work has been exhibited widely in regional and national venues.
