Andrea Carlson ’05

MFA alumni Andrea Carlson ’05 presents her newest exhibit, A Constant Sky at the Denver Art Museum. With its opening preview and reception on October 3, 2025, the show features her mixed media works, which challenge colonial narratives presented by modern artists, museums, and cannibal genre horror films.

Her paintings feature prismatic and surreal landscapes, inviting the viewers to get lost and explore the abstract environments she depicts. A Constant Sky also expands her practice to the third dimension, as she’ll be debuting her sculptural work, Columns for a Horizon.
