Chris Monroe Celebrates String Ball Book Launch

MCAD alumni Chris Monroe ’80 will celebrate the launch of her newest children’s book, String Ball on May 3 at the Zenith Bookstore. String Ball is a story of a curious kitten exploring its owner’s yarn ball, squeezing inside and accidentally rolling out the door, and its hijinks in the outside world.

This publication follows a long career of literary success, dozens of children’s books, and an over-decade-long comic series, Violet Day under her belt. Her series Monkey With a Tool Belt was also adapted into a Netflix animated series, Chico Bon Bon: Monkey with A Tool Belt.
