Brewers Unveil Mural Illustrated by MCAD Alumni

The Milwaukee Brewers recently unveiled a new mural, illustrated by MCAD alumni Brent Schoonover ’02, and painted by Hannah Tews. The anime-inspired mural, located in the East Side’s Black Cat Alley, depicts Brewer’s catcher William Contreras, aka “Wild Bill.”

The mural is the third mural installation as part of the Brewers' ongoing Beyond the Diamond Community engagement project. Rick Schlesinger, president of business operations for the Brewers, notes that “This mural does an amazing job of capturing William Contreras,” he said. “He’s our fiery leader in the clubhouse and on the field.”
