Bill Jeter ’98, MFA was a guest artist at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, as part of the college’s MLK Celebration 2026 and his fifty-year reunion. Jeter presented and rang MARTIN, a bell cast at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, during the event.

The work is currently on display at Bates College and will remain on view through June 2026. Jeter’s participation highlighted the intersection of art, memory, and social reflection central to the annual MLK Celebration, while also marking a milestone reunion in his academic and professional life.
