Describe the work you submitted for merits.

My furniture that was included in the Merit Scholarship was a collection of minimalist and modern wood and metal furniture.

Why did you decide to come to MCAD?

I chose MCAD because of its national reputation and the art and design community in Minneapolis

What's next for your practice? Anything you're really excited to make?

I want to move my practice forward by using more computer aided design tools

Favorite thing about college life (so far)?

My favorite thing about MCAD is the community of 3D makers I’ve become close with in the past year.

What inspires you?

Design that lasts through time

Do you have a favorite piece you've made? Describe it!

My favorite creation is my 3-Piece Desk Lamp. I think it’s a good example of my general design style

Jean Prouvé. An iconic French furniture and industrial designer.
