Sasha Portis is a digital designer, editor, and writer based in New York City. She is the managing editor of the online magazine, Urban Omnibus and has been teaching undergraduate design courses in web design, typography, and motion graphics since 2017. She ran an independent design practice from 2016–2023, alongside in-house freelance work for places like The New York Times, Other Means, Linked by Air, and With Projects. She received a BFA in photography from Wesleyan University in 2009, and an MFA in graphic design from Yale School of Art in 2016.
