Matthew D'Ascenzo (he/him) is an illustrator and art educator originally from Southwest Minneapolis has since returned to living there. Matthew received his Marketing BFA with an emphasis in Graphic Design from North Central University in 2019 and engaged in supplemental art study at Watts Atelier of the Arts.

As a freelance illustrator, Matthew currently works in book illustration, gallery preparation, private commission, and has experience in background painting for animation with Bloom Studio. He has worked with clients including Maison Bodega, Honest Studios, Three Circle, and has appeared in a variety of galleries and exhibitions.
