Faculty Title Instructor Degree Mathias Rechtzigel is a user experience designer and technologist with a focus on creating accessible, equitable and user-centered web experiences. Currently that looks like on modernizing healthcare technology and creating tools for better public health outcomes within the space of behavioral health and substance abuse within the Federal government. Throughout his career he's worked at the intersection of communication, product design, and technology. He has influenced digital systems that are used by millions of people across retail, agriculture, healthcare, banking, non-profits and government. These include The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, the U.S Treasury Department, United Healthcare, United Health Group, U.S. Bank, Best Buy, CHS Inc, and many more. At the core of his work he strives to lay accessible, equitable, and sustainable foundations that run deep. More than just code, more than just design, Rechtzigel puts the people he serves at the center of everything he does.
