Christopher E. Harrison is an educator, graphic designer and visual artist. He currently lives and works his studio practice in Minneapolis. He has exhibited his work in solo and group exhibitions locally and nationally, including DeVos Art Museum (MI), Nemeth Art Center (MN), Soo Visual Art Center (MN), Ridgewater College (MN), and Smack Mellon (MN). Harrison has also created public art sculpture for the City of Minneapolis. Harrison’s work consists of painted and collaged elements that create abstract and figurative art pieces inspired by Black culture.

His work has been supported with grant funding by Jerome Foundation, Minnesota State Arts Board, the City of Minneapolis, the Elizabeth Murray Foundation, and MRAC Next Step. He has served as Museum Arts Educator at the Walker Art Center and as an adjunct professor at the Art Institutes of Minnesota as well as a professor for St. Benedict College (MN). He currently serves as an adjunct art professor at the University of Minnesota.
