Madeleine Kaudy is an interdisciplinary artist and entrepreneur. She received her BA from Lawrence University and her MFA from MCAD. Maddy has shown her work at White Bear Center for the Arts, MCAD, CVA Wasau, and Gamut Gallery. She has an upcoming 2026 show at Art Reach St. Croix. She was awarded 4th place in the painting category in the 2019 Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts competition, was granted a 2024 residency with Art-In-Motion, and was a 2025 Dedalus Foundation MFA Fellowship nominee.

Maddy’s work explores human perceptions of reality and truth as collected through observation, memory, and experience. Drawing imagery from the constructed world and the abstraction of her inner mindspace, she works in collage, assembly, deconstruction, and reassembly. These strategies bring together disparate visual experiences to form an envisioned semblance of wholeness/connectedness. Maddy is the co-founder and COO of Taking Stock Foods, a Minnesota-based functional food company.
