Heidi Miller

Heidi Miller is a Minneapolis-based creative director, graphic designer, consultant, and educator with a passion for branding, surface design, book layout, inventive methodologies, and design for social impact.

Miller’s professional design experience spans over the past thirteen years, having worked for internal and external agencies, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and as an art director for a boutique publishing company. She is currently the creative lead for the global Salesforce consultancy, Magnet360. In addition, she maintains an active freelance practice, passionately explores her entrepreneurial ventures, and is an adjunct professor at MCAD. As a graduate student she focused on socially-conscious, ethical art and design. Her thesis, "You Are Not Alone: Hidden Struggles, the Pressure of Positivity, the Catharsis of Sharing, and the Power of Witnessing," focuses on the need for more channels by which to communicate more authentically about struggle—ones that incite micro moments of connection, and others that cast a wider net for both awareness and hope. The resulting design campaign, The Reveal Project, utilizes anonymous confessional writing to encourage a dialogue about mental health.
