Personal Pronouns

She/Her

Describe what you do for work and how your experience with it has been.

I get to illustrate and design artwork for educational toys and board games. I love that my role encompasses everything from branding and packaging to the artwork applied directly to the toys and games—there’s never a dull moment. Creating kid-focused art that stands out amid the vibrant chaos of spaces like the Target toy aisle has been incredibly rewarding. The challenges and possibilities feel endless, and every project pushes me to grow as an artist.

How did you get your job?

In 2021, I landed my role thanks to a mix of personal passion for lettering and illustration—and over a decade of experience designing stationery and home décor for mass retail.

How long ago did you graduate from MCAD?

10+ years

Where are you originally from and how did you hear about MCAD?

What was your major and how did you choose it?

My interest in typography and painting naturally led me to illustration.

Who was your favorite faculty member and why?

David Rich, he made me feel empowered to paint

Best thing you ever found on the free shelf?

A watercolor palette that I still have!

What inspires you/your work?

My personal creative work is driven by music, pop culture, and the history and advocacy of LGBTQ+ rights.
