This course introduces the fundamental language of the web: HyperText Markup Language (HTML). Course descriptionExplore how the web works, including tags, links, images, lists, tables, forms, web standards (old, new, and evolving), directory structure, wireframing, web development best practices, and lay the foundation for further web development in the next course, Web Development: CSS. This five week online course is a blend of tutorials, readings, development projects, and online discussion. The class is geared toward the beginning to intermediate web developer or designer. Students will have access to Adobe Creative Cloud software throughout the course. / This course is part of the Master of Art in Graphic and Web Design and is a graduate level course. / Please note that this course does not qualify for the $25 alumni tuition rate.Open to students ages 18 and above.
