User Experience (UX) Design: Mobile Apps (Online)

Building on the foundation and principles of User Experience (UX) Design, create an interactive mobile app that employs the best practices of UX.

Course Description

Develop the application’s information architecture and create wireframes and designs leveraging the UX software, Figma. Throughout the course, iterate the design based on feedback from the instructor, peers, and potential users. Employ industry standard research and development methods such as card sorting, resulting in deliverables including wireframes, mobile-first designs, and a limited design system.

Create clickable interactive prototypes and conduct evaluative research to receive feedback from users. Leave this course with a solid understanding of the UX process, and a working prototype and feedback to continue to make improvements on the application. / Students will have access to the Adobe Creative Suite throughout the course.

This course can be taken towards the User Experience (UX) Design Certificate.

Open to students ages 18 and above. Review complete policies, including class cancellation policies, before completing your registration.
